We are recruiting for a leading cargo specialist company based at London Heathrow Airport.

As a Forklift Operative you will receive:
• First 12 weeks pay of £13.50 p/h for day shifts and £14.50 p/h night shifts.
• After12 weeks £16.12 p/h
• Overtime rate after 12 weeks £22.17 p/h - £29.56 p/h (after completion of rostered hours)
• Free parking in ULEZ free zone.

To be successful for this Forklift Operative position:
• A valid counterbalance forklift licence is required.
• Minimum 3 months experience using counterbalance forklift in past 1 year.
• Ability to load and unload parcels between 15kg to 25kg.
• Be prepared to work in a manual environment.
• Provide 5 year referenceable history and criminal record check.

Forklift Operative duties will include:
• Using forklift to load and unload air freight cargo pallets to and from vehicles.
• Build and break down aircraft pallets and store in warehouse racks.
• Build cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications.
• Scanning cargo and completion of airfreight documentation.
• Performing other warehouse duties when required.

As a Forklift Operative, you will work an 8 hour shift pattern with a mixture of early and late shifts:
• Early shifts 08:00 hrs – 16:30 hrs
• Late shifts 16:00 hrs – 00:30 hrs
