Title: ULD Manager
Salary: £33,000
Rotational Shift Pattern: Mon to Sat 9am to 17:30pm & Tuesday to Friday 9am to 17.30pm
Location: LHR

The ULD Manager helps airlines control their entire ULD directory across cargo or passenger baggage ensuring maximum use per unit.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE DESIRED

• Suitable applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Load control / ULD Management
• Willing to show initiative and you can remain calm under pressure
• Agree and influence station upper and lower budgets with Cargo Operations Managers, ensuring passenger operation taken into account.
• Allocate and publish the configuration of equipment to be used on each flight departure, based on aircraft type, passenger number, cargo product and
best cargo build.
• Increase cargo revenue uplifts.
• Take responsibility for efficient utilisation of Offshore Team and on time / accuracy performance by monitoring KPIs provided.
• Challenge Offshore team by providing ongoing feedback ensuring that the processes are understood.
• Provide robust process documentation of all tasks carried ULD Control, to ensure business continuity.
• Track and maintain ULD assets and asset data through use of the offshore team, automated messaging and engaging with stakeholders.
• Monitor ingestion of messages to ULD Management system; fix and improve on optimisation across Airport, Cargo and Load Planning teams.
• Analyse data on damaged equipment to ensure turnaround times are met by repair agents and to hold Cargo Agents and GHAs accountable for the profile
of damage while equipment is in their care.
• Investigate / Invoice damage to ULDs sustained by customers and GHAs.
• Visibility of your airline’s entire ULD inventory.
• Transfer handling and Stock check and repair control.
• To maintain and control the availability of ULD stock for both Cargo and Passenger Operations worldwide though collaborative working with the Revenue
optimization, Operations and Load Planning teams, through empty movement requests and use of competitor capacity.
• Manage airside and cargo stocks at LHR, through equipment transportation by GHAs.
