We are working with a leading global provider of ground handling and cargo services who is now seeking an experienced Cargo Agent to join their growing imports team on a permanent basis at their Heathrow Airport operation (TW6). 
 
This position will involve working rotating shifts between the hours of 0700 hours to 1800 hours. 
 
For this Cargo Agent position, our client will offer: 

• Up to £39,000 per annum depending upon experience.

Reporting to the Imports Manager, you will be expected to work alone or as part of a team on projects to complete within set time frames whilst adhering to company guidelines.  
 
As a Cargo Agent, you will be expected to perform the following duites:   

• Respond to customer, agent and Freight Forwarder queries via email or telephone in a timely manner. 
• Support customers with all query resolutions. 
• Support the wider office team and other departments including, reception, and warehouse to ensure customer consignments are managed and processed. 
• Create and update records of all consignments in the airline computer systems. 

• Separate and distribute cargo documents according to airline requirements.  

The skills and experience required for this Cargo Agent role are:  

• Minimum 1 years’ Cargo Agent experience ideally from an import environment.  
• A good understanding of the cargo import operations process. 
• Any experience with Freshdesk would be desirable. 
• Good organisational and communication skills. 
• A 5-year workable history check. 
• Right to Work in UK.
