This client is an established organisation that specialises in the supply and distribution of fuels across all airports.

Due to continuous growth, they are now looking for a Transport Operations Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Based at either of their Heathrow or Gatwick offices, the Transport Operations Manager will manage a team of airside drivers who work at various fuelling sites that include, Heathrow, Gatwick Stansted, and Edinburgh Airports.

The Transport Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring safety and regulatory compliance for each site and ensuring maximum productivity within the whole operation.

The duties and responsibilities of the Transport Operations Manager will include:
• Oversee a team of operations staff, focusing on safety, compliance, and audits airside at airport locations.
• Manage operational resources across the airport network to ensure an effective operation is met for our customers.
• Manage the fuel infrastructure in line with airport regulations and compliance standards.
• Provide operations support to other airport sites.
• Lead the SHEQ safety, health, environment and quality assurance and risk assessment policies.

The skills and experience required for this Transport Operations Manager role are:
• Knowledge of the Goods Vehicle (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995
• Experience in managing a HGV fleet of vehicles.
• A Certificate of Professional Competence in National Road Haulage Operations.
• ADR licence holder.
• Full driving licence (HGV 2 desirable)

The remuneration and benefits offered to the successful Transport Operations Manager:
• £55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
• Annual Bonus.
• Company Car.
• 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holiday.
• Life Assurance 4x basic salary.
• Contributory Pension, 4.5% Employer contribution.
